The University of South Carolina held its first Civil Rights Conference, and we were asked to cover the week-long event. While capturing the event, I quickly realized our video would not only serve as a highlight of the conference but also as an important moment to document the stories of the attendees.
 

     The conference, titled "Where Do We Go From Here?", gathered to hear the stories and wisdom of original civil rights activists, who shared their experiences with the younger generation. Though the event honored the past, the focus was on encouraging the youth to continue the civil rights efforts. I wanted to capture the impact of that message through this video edit and document the stories that were told.
